More and more companies are jumping on the Resveratrol bandwagon. If you watch television in the evenings you will see commercials for cranberry juice discussing the anti-oxidant properties of cranberries.
This is due for the most part in flavonoids which resveratrol is one of the substances. Flavonoids are part of the group of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols. These are what everyone is talking about.
Anti-oxidants are important for general health and can help prevent diseases such as cancer.
So if you don't like wine and hate to take pills then at least try a glass of cranberry juice to get those needed polyphenols.
